BGBS: State forms synergy committee for investment nods

Kolkata: Bengal govt has set up a state-level investment synergy committee headed by chief secretary Manoj Pant to provide a single interface for approving investments. The committee, formulated during the recently concluded BGBS, will have 19 departmental heads as members to assist the chief secretary.

District magistrates will head the district-level committees. The panel has been formed to synergise inter-developmental coordination and make Bengal the most favoured business destination in the country, said officials. tnn
