12 Kolkata: Metro services on the Blue line were disrupted for an hour on Monday after a man jumped in front of a train that was approaching the Esplanade station around 7.56pm, a Metro Railway spokesperson said.
The third line from which the rakes draw electricity had to be switched off for rescuing the man, who was rushed to a hospital. His condition is yet to be known. Normal services resumed around 8.55 pm. tnn
