• Snakebite victim takes exam from hosp

  • 123 Belda: A Madhyamik examinee who was bitten by a snake in the Sushinda area of Belda, West Midnapore on Saturday, the day of the maths exam, had to take the exam from his hospital bed.

    Jyotirmoy Jana, a student of Belda Gangadhar Academy, was about to leave for his exam centre at Baramohanpur High School. He was standing outside his house when a snake bit his leg. He was taken to Belda Super Specialty Hospital.

    Arrangements were made for the student to take the exam in the hospital's VIP cabin while under medical observation. However, it is unclear which snake bit him.
