Kolkata: Examinees of the Madhyamik mathematics exam will get full marks for attempting one one-mark question and one four-mark question if they followed the correct methods.
This year, the Madhyamik board introduced different sets of question papers for different regions. The students will get full marks if they have attempted question 3 (VI) for the North Bengal Region question set, Q3 (iii) for the Burdwan Region question set, Q3 (i) for the Kolkata Region question set, and Q15 for the question sets of all regions were decided to receive full marks if the question was attempted by following the correct steps and method, according to the notice issued by the Madhyamik board on Monday.
After the exam on Saturday, a section of teachers stated that the maths paper was a bit tough and some questions were out syllabus. Teacher Animesh Haldar said, "The instruction was not clear because we saw there was another out-of-syllabus question, but the board made no specific order for it."
