Sodexo India launches healthcare mgmt facility in Sector V

Kolkata: Sodexo India, a sustainable food services and valued experiences company, has introduced a Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) facility at Sector V in Kolkata.
The facility, spread over an area of 6,700 sq ft, is equipped with six specialised labs that can support the maintenance of about 5 lakh medical devices in the state. The company has also partnered with various govt hospitals for maintenance of their biomedical equipment.
"Sodexo is backed by an extensive network and partnerships with OEMs to enhance our service for advanced testing, repair and maintenance of biomedical equipment installed in hospitals and diagnostic clinics. We set up the new facility to step up our HTM operations and to explore market opportunities across the country, especially in the east," said Sharad Misra, COO, health and care, Sodexo.
Currently, the company provides its HTM services to 1,500 hospitals, including medical colleges, primary health centres, private hospitals, diagnostic centres and blood banks.
"We are providing maintenance services for biomedical equipment in govt hospitals through our partnership with HLL Infra Tech Services Ltd, a govt PSU," Misra added.
