• 1k fine for HS practical marks delay

  • Kolkata: West Bengal Council for Higher Secondary Education will charge Rs 1,000 as a fine per candidate to the respective school failing to submit marks for the practical and project works on time.

    The council reopened the portal on Thursday for those who failed to submit, which will be live until Feb 28.

    One officer of the HS Council said, "Since last December, the portal has been opened three times. After December, it was also reopened in January. However, many schools still did not submit marks for the practical and project. This time, a final opportunity is being given for 10 days before the exam. If any school fails to submit, then they will have to pay a fine."
