Kolkata: The condition of Jadavpur University's interim vice-chancellor Bhaskar Gupta, who has been admitted to a private hospital with a spiked BP count, is stated to be stable.
Gupta underwent an MRI on Thursday and no internal injury was reported. But, doctors said, his BP was yet to come down to the desired level. An X-ray report showed osteoarthritis in Gupta's knees, for which physiotherapy has started. He has been advised to stay in hospital for at least four days. tnn
