Malda: Drugs worth about Rs 5 crore were seized on Friday by Kaliachak police.
Cops raided a litchi garden at Balugram Thoktuli on Friday night and more than 5kg of brown sugar was seized. Cops said sodium carbonate and some utensils were found and they suspect that brown sugar was being prepared. Search is on for the suspects.
