Shashwat Goenka elected chairman of CII Eastern Region

12 Kolkata: RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group vice-chairman Shashwat Goenka has been elected as CII Eastern Region chairman. Goenka said that he would work across different states in the next 12 months and has plans to take CII to new heights. The focus would be on AI, energy transition, innovation, sustainability, and skill development, Goenka said. "Our objective would be faster development of the eastern region for the prosperity of the nation," he added.
Goenka pointed out that he was planning multiple events with international speakers.
