Kolkata: The CBI officials have summoned security personnel who were on duty on Aug 8 and Aug 9, when the 31-year-old postgraduate trainee doctor was raped and murdered at RG Kar.
Eight security personnel have been asked to attend interrogation at the CGO complex in Salt Lake by Sunday. The CBI, in the charge sheet, mentioned names of nearly 10 officials and personnel of Kolkata Police who were either posted on security duty that night or were present at the Tallah police station. The investigating agency had started sending fresh summons to witnesses from the beginning of this month.
