Kolkata: Prabhu Poly Pipes Ltd is set to acquire land in Howrah next month to establish its second manufacturing plant in the state. The new facility, to be located in Dhulagarh, is expected to be operational by the next financial year, according to Rohit Agarwal, CEO of the company.
Agarwal stated that they would invest Rs 100 crore over the next two years to expand their business in the state. A significant portion of this investment will be allocated to setting up the new facility, as the company plans to introduce new products.
"The new facility will add 3,000 tonnes of OPVC pipes and fittings and 2,400 tonnes of CPVC pipes and fittings annually. We have already begun manufacturing and supplying MDPE pipes for gas pipelines. Additionally, we are planning to expand our business to other states in eastern India and the northeast," he said.
