123 Kolkata: Cops, probing the murder of Abinash Bauri (22), whose naked body with multiple stab wounds was found at his employer's flat near Bhawani Bhawan in Charu Market on Saturday, are looking for a young man of thin build who was with him at the flat on Saturday evening.
A security guard who was on duty at the apartment complex on Saturday gave a vivid description of the man, based on which cops are trying to make a sketch of the man who was with Bauri on Saturday. However, cops added that they don't have any image of the man from the complex because of the faulty CCTV cameras there. Cops are also looking for Bauri's phone which is missing.
Speaking to reporters, Bauri's mother Gani Bauri said on Sunday that he promised to return home on Saturday only. "He also told me that he was having difficulty working there. I asked him to leave the job and come back home," she said.
Cops visited the flat again on Sunday with sniffer dogs and spoke to multiple flat owners and guards, but no one was arrested yet.
