Kolkata: SUCI (Communist) will stage a civil disobedience movement across Bengal on Thursday in protest against price rise, with special focus on the recent hike in 748 essential medicines prices by Centre. Representatives of the organisation said they would stage agitations in front of govt administrative offices and hold processions in different districts.
SUCI said they would also demand rollback of National Education Policy and address issues like corruption, unemployment, rising communal politics and financial support to farmers. They will also call for justice for the young doctor who was raped and murdered at RG Kar Medical College.
