12 Siliguri: Four college students from Kolkata, returning to Siliguri from Pelling, were critically injured, while five others, including the driver, suffered minor injuries as their vehicle fell into a gorge after a tree fell onto it at Lapchey Jhora on NH 10 near Kalimpong on Tuesday. The incident led to traffic disruption on NH 10 for around an hour. The injured were Santhi Dey, Sathi Mondal, Tunai Barik, Arijita Roy, Shestha Pal, Mantu Ghorui, Arghyo Bhattacharya and Suvodip Mandal, all students of Netaji Nagar College.
The NHIDCL notified of traffic restrictions on NH 10 between Sevoke and Rangpo on April 9 and 10, and from April 17 to 19 for repairs ahead of monsoon. —Roshan Gupta
