2 techies die in car-truck crash, 2 others in hosp

Howrah: Two persons, both IT employees in Kolkata, were killed on the highway near Bagnan when the car they were travelling in dashed into a truck. Two other IT employees who were in the vehicle were injured. Ankush Bhattacharjee and Bipasha Chakraborty died on the spot while Aloke Bhattacharjee and Prasam Banik have been hospitalised.
The accident happened in the early hours of Friday when the four were returning to Kolkata after a night out at a dhaba in Kolaghat. Cops said the truck was moving when the car collided with it from behind on Nabasan flyover. The two victims were pronounced dead at Bagnan Rural Hospital.
