Kolkata: Cops probing into the murder of a woman whose body was found in a trolley bag in Baguiati on Tuesday have come across CCTV footage that shows a person pushing a trolley towards the abandoned place. Two motorcycles were found to be behind him.
Baguiati cops are investigating to find out who these individuals are. Police added that a preliminary post-mortem report has found that the woman was smothered to death before being packed in the suitcase.
"We have some leads and there are a few similarities between the woman found in the trolley and those reported missing in nearby police stations but we are yet to ascertain her identity," an officer said. —Mayukh Sengupta
