The mortal remains of the two tourists from Kolkata — Sameer Guhar from Behala’s Sakher Bazar and Bitan Adhikari of Vaishnav Ghata, Patuli, arrived at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport at 8 pm on Wednesday.
Senior state ministers Aroop Biswas and Firhad Hakim, Leader of Opposition in Assembly Suvendu Adhikari, and BJP MP from Tamluk Agnimitra Paul, were present at the airport.
“Everything is over for me. Amar cheler samne baba k mere dilo (They killed his father in front of my child). I came because you all are here. I want punishment for my husband’s killers,” Bitan Adhikari’s wife, Sohini Adhikari said
“My husband used to support you all a lot, that’s why I’m here to show my support,” she added.
BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari lifted up Bitan’s son and comforted the child at the airport and told Bitan’s wife, Sohini, “This will not be tolerated, Bitan was killed because he was a Hindu. We will see the end of this.”

Modi’s children,” Suvendu further said.
According to reports, 26 people were killed in the attack.
Three tourists from Bengal lost their lives in the incident. In addition to the two from Kolkata, the body of Jhalda’s Manish Ranjan Mishra killed in the militant attack is expected to arrive at his home via Ranchi tonight.
The Chief Minister has stated that the state government is making all necessary arrangements for the funerals of the deceased tourists and is taking steps to bring back the remaining tourists.
