Kolkata: The driver of the car that was hit by an electric car recently at the Red Road-Mayo Road crossing lodged an FIR in connection with the accident at Maidan Police Station.
According to the complainant and the CCTV footage, the electric car, which was being driven at a high speed, jumped traffic signal and rammed into the other car.

Contradicting the claims made by police, the complainant alleged that the errant driver didn't ‘misjudge' the yellow signal. Biswas allegedly suffered chest injuries and two of his occupants, Rahanuma Aftab and her son, were left traumatised. TNN
