Kolkata: Over 1 lakh candidates from Bengal and other states will appear for the Joint Entrance Examination on Sunday. Examinations will be held at over 300 centres. Sources said that there is a significant number of woman candidates appearing in the exams.
Exams will be held in two shifts. While mathematics is scheduled in the first shift from 11 am to 1 pm, physics and chemistry are scheduled from 2 pm to 4 pm. Over 500 observers and board observers were appointed for smooth conduct of exam. Candidates are restricted from carrying any electronic gadgets to the exam centres.
