HS 3rd semester to have online classes during summer break

Kolkata: Online classes would be held for plus-II students in semester III at state schools during the summer vacation, stated West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education on Tuesday. The decision was taken, given that only three months were left before the third-semester exams, likely to be held in Sept, said an official.
State schools faced major disruptions following the SC order, dismissing teachers, appointed by SSC through the 2016 panel. ‘Untainted' teachers returned to schools on Monday, but the summer break starts on Wednesday. School heads said online classes would help make up for lessons missed when teachers were away. tnn
