Wedding firm terminates 2 staffers for duping sr citizen

Kolkata: An agency that helps couples find and book wedding services, including venues, photos and decorators, said on Tuesday that they had terminated the services of the two employees who reportedly duped a senior citizen of Rs 7.6 lakh on the pretext of booking a venue and 20 rooms at a five-star hotel in New Town.
TOI reported the fraud on Monday.
"We terminated the services of the accused and lodged a cop complaint. We are cooperating with the investigation," a spokesperson for Weddingz.in said. Cops said the accused persons, Suvanjan Mullick and Sandipan Das, were yet to be arrested. tnn
