Kolkata: The New Town Kolkata Development Authority (NKDA) will serve notices to stop operations to the rooftop sites located across New Town by Wednesday evening. The Nabadiganta Industrial Township Authority (NDITA), the custodian of Sector V will also do the same in the IT hub in the next couple of days.Following a review meeting on Monday, both NKDA and NDITA decided to serve notices to all the 14 rooftop restaurants operating in New Town and Sector V—five in New Town and nine in Sector V. The operators will be asked to stop operating the roof top restaurants at the earliest, as they were found to be running with ‘grave anomalies'. In the BMC area of Salt Lake and Rajarhat Gopalpur, all councillors have been asked to compile a list of rooftop restaurants.
