Jalpaiguri: With work for the Sevoke-Rangpo rail line in full swing and the Final Location Survey (FLS) for Rangpo to Gangtok completed, the railways is set to lay another track in Sikkim. This new track will connect Dentam in the southwest of the Himalayan state to the Sevoke-Rangpo line at Melli via Jorethang and Legship, aiming to expedite economic growth in the region.The sanctioned survey, to be executed by Northeast Frontier Railway(NFR), has been approved at a cost of Rs 2.25 crore.
