Kolkata: Seven passengers were injured in a head-on collision between two private buses on MG Road near Pagaya Patti in Burrabazar early on Monday morning. The accident occurred around 6.05 am when a private bus on route 24A collided with another bus on route 215/1. Cops immediately took custody of both vehicles and their drivers.Among the injured were Jyotsna Bag (34) and her son Anshu (9) from Panskura, Anuradha Dolai (40) from Bhupatinagar, Puja Majhi (45) from Manikjore, Tanushree Hazra (15) from Itaberia, and sisters Pragya (22) and Shraddha Dey (18) from Narendrapur. All victims were rushed to Calcutta Medical College & Hospital for treatment.
