Kolkata: Chief minister Mamata Banerjee, made an unannounced visit to the finance department on the 12th floor at Nabanna on Tuesday, rather than proceeding directly to her office on the 14th floor. Her unexpected appearance left many staff members visibly surprised. The CM engaged with several employees, inquiring about any issues they might be facing. She also offered guidance, urging the staff to ensure official files are processed without undue delay.
