123 Kolkata: A young woman and her sister-in-law swimming in the rooftop pool of their housing complex in Rajarhat were allegedly molested in the water by a man who was visiting the home of another complex resident. The man, a resident of Jadavpur, was later arrested from the same complex.The incident occurred last weekend when the man, an event management executive, was visiting his friend's home at a premium housing complex in Rajarhat. According to police, he chatted with a group of residents in the lobby and met them again at the rooftop swimming pool in the evening.According to the complaint, the man, on the pretext of swimming, allegedly touched the private parts of one of the women he had earlier chatted with outside the pool. The woman complained and screamed for help. Her brother and sister-in-law tried to save her when the man allegedly molested her sister-in-law and assaulted her brother.After the incident, the man allegedly got out of the pool and went to his friend's home. The family called police and lodged a complaint, following which the man was arrested. Police booked him under BNS sections of molestation, sexual harassment and assault.
