123 Kolkata: Trinamool Congress legislative party's disciplinary committee issued a final warning on Friday to Bharatpur MLA Humayun Kabir, directing him to cease making statements that bring disrepute to the party.The MLA was called to meet parliamentary affairs minister Sobhandeb Chattopadhyay at his assembly office on Friday. Sources said Chattopadhyay gave him the notice, emphasising its status as the ultimate warning and cautioned the MLA that he might be suspended from the party for further misconduct.Kabir had recently said that some TMC netas maintained relations with leader of opposition Suvendu Adhikari. He also claimed that some party colleagues were taking bribes and misbehaving with people. Earlier, he criticised TMC's decision to pick cricketer-turned-politician Yusuf Pathan for the Behrampore LS seat in 2024.After getting the notice, Kabir said the party was free to throw him out or hang him.
