Kaliganj: Around 40 bombs were recovered from Nadia's Kaliganj on Monday near the area where a 9-year-old girl was killed in an explosion on June 23. Sabina Yasmin, mother of the victim Tamanna Khatun, had earlier said that bombs and firearms were hidden in Molandi village.Tamanna, a Class IV student and daughter of a CPM supporter, died after a bomb was hurled in her direction during a political procession following Trinamool Congress's victory in the Kaliganj bypoll. Nine people have been arrested so far.Meanwhile, CPM veteran Biman Bose visited Kaliganj on Monday. A torch rally was held in Krishnanagar in protest.
