Kaliganj: Around 40 bombs were recovered from Nadia's Kaliganj on Monday near the area where a 9-year-old girl was killed in an explosion on June 23. Sabina Yasmin, mother of the victim Tamanna Khatun, had earlier said that bombs and firearms were hidden in Molandi village. Tamanna, a Class IV student and daughter of a CPM supporter, died after a bomb was hurled in her direction during a political procession following Trinamool Congress's victory in the Kaliganj bypoll. Nine people have been arrested so far. Meanwhile, CPM veteran Biman Bose visited Kaliganj on Monday. A torch rally was held in Krishnanagar in protest.
