Kolkata: Jammu & Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah will meet CM Mamata Banerjee on Thursday at Nabanna. It will be the first meeting between the two CMs after the Pahalgam incident, where terrorists gunned down 26 people, including three from Bengal.
This meeting gains political significance as opposition strategy may be discussed ahead of the monsoon session of Parliament. Political experts said the Centre's policies regarding the country's security situation, in light of the Pahalgam attack, may also be up for discussion. The meeting is expect-ed to last half an hour, sources said.
