Kolkata: A civic volunteer attached to Bhowanipore Traffic Guard was named in an FIR by his brother and sister-in-law for trespassing and barging into their residence, assaulting them, and molesting one of them. Cops registered a case and got the woman to record her statement before a magistrate.According to cops, the accused claimed he was "upset" when his mother was "thrown out of the house and his entry was disallowed". He said he went with his mother and sister to ensure his brother did not usurp the property. Hence, he broke into the house. His mother has been named a co-accused. Cops are speaking to neighbours to ascertain the exact chain of events. Cops started a probe under BNS sections pertaining to hurt, trespassing, and molestation. Locals said the siblings have a long-standing property dispute. tnn
