Kolkata: The annual awards ceremony of Julien Education Trust, honouring the remarkable contributions of students from Julien Day Schools — Kolkata, Ganganagar, Kalyani and Howrah — for the academic year 2024-2025, took place at EZCC, Salt Lake recently. The event held on June 28 saw the presence of managing trustee SE Broughton (95), whose radiant smile and determination continue to inspire the community. The chairman, JG Broughton, presented hampers comprising school bags and stationery to the children of The Grace Memorial Free School, as part of the Julien Day Educational Trust's initiatives. Teachers who participated in this philanthropic initiative received awards. Students were felicitated for their achievements in academics, co-curricular activities and sports. Staff members with 25 years of servicewere given tokens of appreciation.
