“My parents are very happy and proud of me.” Chakrabarti told The Indian Express over the phone from Kharagpur.
Sharing his preparation journey, Chakrabarti emphasised the importance of maintaining a balance between academics and leisure.

“You should be dedicated towards your goal but not sacrifice everything for studies. There has to be a balance, and at the same time you must realise that academics is the most important part apart from all other things.”

An enthusiast of Mathematics and Physics, Chakrabarti found joy in studying these subjects, which kept his preparation for exams engaging rather than burdensome. He also shared that for a few topics and tricky questions, he sought help from AI, like ChatGPT, reflecting how technology has become an effective aid in modern education.
Chakrabarti plans to celebrate this milestone with his friends at IIT Kharagpur.

Meanwhile, Samyajyoti Biswas has achieved the second rank in WBJEE 2025 with an impressive score of 193 marks. He emphasised on the importance of stress relieving , stating he studied around 6–7 hours a day, while taking time for recreational activities, including daily walks with his mother, which helped relieve stress.

“My mother motivated me at all times when I felt low, and my dream of studying at IIT Bombay kept me chasing my goals. For WBJEE, thorough study of the recommended books and practising basic questions was enough. I balanced my preparation with daily walks and recreational activities, which helped me stay stress-free and focused,” said Biswas.
