Former cricketer and state sports & youth welfare minister Manoj Tiwari claimed that the BJP would make a carbon copy of chief minister Mamata Banerjee’s Amader Para, Amader Samadhan (APAS) campaign and implement it in other states, just as they had earlier replicated the Kanyashree scheme.
Mr Tiwari led the APAS (Amader Para Amader Samadhan) programme in the Kanchannagar area under Ward 24 of Burdwan town today. He said: “Many works have been carried out over the years, but with changing times, people’s needs have grown and we need to look after those.”
The minister added: “Several issues were noted today which will be addressed in phases within 90 days. We are determined to ensure that all works are completed despite acute fund constraints.”
