• RPF rescues minor boy

  • The Railway Protection Force (RPF) of Asansol division rescued an 11-year-old boy under the “Nanhe Fariste” operation at Madhupur railway station on Friday.

    The incident occurred around 9.30 a.m. during a routine patrol, when RPF personnel noticed a young boy wandering near Platforms No. 3/4. Upon questioning, the boy appeared confused and unable to provide a clear response. He later identified himself as Akash Kumar, the son of Kripa Singh, from Guljarpur, Sahar, district Ara (Bihar). Akash revealed that while travelling from Ara to meet his sister at Phulwari Sharif, Patna, he had mistakenly boarded the wrong train and ended up at Madhupur.
