Kolkata: Bengal correctional services minister Chandranath Sinha surrendered before the Special PMLA court on Saturday as part of the probe into the recruitment case.
While the ED sought custody of Sinha for seven days, the court granted him interim bail on a personal bond. Last month, the court had directed Sinha to appear in person and surrender on Sept 12 in response to an ED summon.
The court said Sinha will not be allowed to leave his assembly constituency or Kolkata for the time being.
