• Second phase of teacher recruitment exam today

  • Kolkata: The highest level of arrangements was in place for the state-level selection test (SLST), state education minister Bratya Basu said on Saturday, the eve of the second phase of the exams for the recruitment of assistant teachers for classes XI-XII.



    A total of 2.5 lakh candidates will appear for the exam at 478 centres.

    Basu said, "We have informed WBSSC about the CM's instructions. I assure all examinees of the highest level of arrangements in place. Take the exam calmly." Candidates are barred from wearing ornaments and watches or carrying electronic gadgets, calculators and mobiles. tnn
