Jadavpur University students demand more women guards, clean toilets on campus
Times of India | 18 September 2025Students have decided to submit their demands to the authorities on Thursday. They proposed that the sensitisation team should comprise students, teachers and staffers to be vigilant against open consumption of alcohol and weed on the campus.
"Toilets that are accessible for women till late night are the ones in the union room. But those are dirty. We want the authorities to ensure all washrooms for women are regularly cleaned and remain open overnight," a student said.
