• Tourist smart cards for Durga Puja

  • Anticipating a footfall that could cross the one million mark during peak Durga Puja days, the Kolkata Metro Railway has decided to introduce Tourist Smart Cards.

    According to the city Metro office, to facilitate the travel of large numbers of tourists or visitors during Durga Puja, the Kolkata Metro Railway would facilitate unlimited journeys for Tourist Smart Card owners for three and five days at a cost of Rs 250 and Rs 550, respectively. The cards are now available at all booking counters of Metro stations.
