Kolkata: A court on Friday sentenced three—Farman Laskar, Maniram Khatoon, and Atiyar Rahaman—to life imprisonment until death for killing a woman, Aleya Laskar, in Joynagar in 2020.
Aleya's body was found at Charghata Mouza, her severed head lying nearby, on Oct 16, '20. The three promised her a job but took her to another place, where they strangled and beheaded her. tnn
