CEO meets officials over cash, contraband seizures

Kolkata: Bengal CEO Manoj Agarwal on Thursday met officials from the I-T department, DRI, ED, Customs and GST to discuss issues related to the seizure of cash and contraband. A blueprint for monitoring political parties six months ahead of polls would be finalised during the next meeting after the Pujas.
The EC is also planning to hold another round of talks with political parties in mid-Oct to finalise the launch of SIR, set to begin in Bengal in Nov.
