Met spies sporadic rain, thundershower activities
Times of India | 7 October 2025On Monday, the maximum and minimum temperatures, at 29.5°C and 25.4°C respectively, were 3.3 and 0.4 notches below normal. The temperature is likely to remain comfortable for now.
"While there is no chance for heavy rain in the city, thunderstorm activities will continue in Kolkata and South Bengal pockets in a sporadic way," said H R Biswas, head at RMC, Kolkata.
On Monday, pockets in districts like South 24 Parganas, Hooghly, Burdwan, and Nadia received a few spells of thundershower activities. tnn
