• ECIL signs MoU with DVC for security projects

  • Electronics Corporation of India Limited, a Central Public Sector Enterprise, under the department of atomic energy, signed a memorandum of understanding on Tuesday with Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC), which is under the administrative control of the ministry of power engaged in the operation and maintenance of dams, power stations and transmission & distribution network apart from multifarious socioeconomic activities in the States of Jharkhand and West Bengal.

    The ECIL is engaged in multi-product, multi-disciplinary providing cutting-edge technology solutions in electronics to users in the area of strategic electronics with specific focus on atomic energy, defence, Security and such critical sectors of strategic national importance.

    The MoU was exchanged by Dr Anesh Kumar Sharma, OS, director (technical), ECIL and S Suresh Kumar, chairman, DVC. The MoU was signed by Cmde. Neeraj Uday, general manager, HSS, ECIL and Neeraj Jain, senior general manager (C&I), DVC, Kolkata. Santhaiah K, head SSPD, ECIL and other senior officials from both the institutions were also present on this occasion.

    The MoU is signed to strengthen cooperation between them through sharing experiences, best practices, capacity building and knowledge in the area of security systems and state of the art emerging digital solutions. The main objective is to work towards strategising and scaling up security systems initiatives with the focus on process simplification, maximum digitization, ease of doing business, undertaking capacity building and knowledge sharing in relevant areas.
