Kolkata Metro Train Timings Today: Kolkata Metro will extend its services on Kali Puja, October 20, for an additional hour along the East-West corridor.
The Green Line (Howrah Maidan-Salt Lake Sector 5 stretch) will see 120 metro services, with 60 trips (Up and Down) in each direction.
The last train from Howrah Maidan will depart at 10.45 pm, extended from the usual 9.45 pm departure.
The last train from Salt Lake Sector 5 will leave at 10.47 pm, instead of the usual 9.47 pm, according to a Kolkata Metro Railway statement issued on Saturday.
The extended metro services are aimed at facilitating the travel of devotees to Dakshineswar and Kalighat Kali temples for puja rituals conveniently, with interchange facilities available at Esplanade for the Blue Line (North-South corridor).

– From Howrah Maidan to Salt Lake Sector V at 22.45 hrs (instead of 21.45 hrs)
-From Salt Lake Sector V to Howrah Maidan at 22.47 hrs (instead of 21.47 hrs)
Revised timings apply only to the Green Line (Howrah Maidan-Salt Lake Sector V stretch). Services on Blue Line, Orange Line, Purple Line, and Yellow Line will operate as per the previously announced schedule (Press Release dated October 17, 2025).
Kolkata Metro had previously announced special night services on the Blue Line (Shahid Khudiram-Dakshineswar stretch) for October 20, with the last train departing Dakshineswar station for Shahid Khudiram at 10.51 pm instead of the normal timing of 9.28 pm.
