Raj CM urges Kol-based bizmen to invest in devpt of ‘janmabhoomi’

Kolkata: Rajasthan CM Bhajan Lal Sharma on Tuesday invited members of the Rajasthani community living in Kolkata to make investments in Rajasthan, while emphasising the rapid economic transformation of the state.
Addressing the ‘Pravasi Rajasthani Divas' roadshow in Kolkata, Sharma added that members of the community living in Bengal for generations had made a huge contribution to the economic development of Bengal. Addressing Rajasthanis, Sharma said, "Your janmabhoomi is proud of you. I am here to strengthen the bond between your janmabhoomi and karmabhoomi. Rajasthan is on a fast growth trajectory, and we want the global Rajasthani community to partner in building a stronger Rajasthan."
"I know that you often come to Rajasthan. If you set up two units here, I appeal to you to build one unit in Rajasthan and check which is giving you more profit. Our govt will provide all kinds of support and cooperation," he added.
Inviting members of Rajasthani community to participate in the Pravasi Rajasthani Divas scheduled in Jaipur on Dec 10, Sharma said the event would serve as a platform to deepen engagement and celebrate the global achievements of Rajasthanis.
Several Kolkata-based industrialists like Shashwat Goenka, MK Jalan, HP Budhia and Umesh Chowdhary were present at the programme.
