Serial theft: Gold, cash stolen from 2 Parnasree flats
Times of India | 30 October 2025The incident was reported to the local police by one of the victims, Bijit Sardar, a resident of 159/D Bibhutibhusan Sengupta Road, who discovered the theft upon waking up.
The thief had also attempted theft at a third house at Becharam Chatterjee road but could not steal substantial items.
The thief allegedly managed to steal jewellery and about Rs 1 lakh cash from Sardar's residence.
He next targeted the residence of Ashima Sharma at Becharam Chatterjee Road and stole two gold bangles, Rs 5,000 in cash, and a mobile phone. Probe into the thefts are underway. tnn
