• SIR deaths: TMC leaders visit families of deceased persons

  • Trinamul Congress national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee formed a team where the leaders will visit the houses of those who died due to Special Intensive Revision (SIR). On Saturday, the leaders, Samirul Islam and Partha Bhowmick visited the family of late Pradip Kar in Panihati; Dr Shashi Panja and Trinankur Bhattacharjee visited the family of late Kakoli Sarkar in Titagarh. The family of the late Hasina Begum in Dankuni was visited by Chandrima Bhattacharya and Sudip Raha. Likewise, relatives of late Biti Das in Sheoraphuli (Hooghly) was visited by Arindam Guin and Jaya Dutta and the family of late Jahir Mal in Uluberia was visited by Pulak Roy and Arup Chakraborty.

    On Sunday, TMC leaders will visit the family of late Bimal Santra (Jamalpur), family of late Sofikul Islam (Bhangar). Chandrima Bhattacharya and Apurba Sarkar along with local leaders will visit family of late Tarak Saha (Berhampore); Partha Bhowmick and Bapi Halder will visit family of late Hafeez S. (Kulpi) and Snehasis Chakraborty and local leaders will visit the family of late Biman Pramanik in Sainthia.

    Meanwhile, the Trinamul Congress (TMC), has appointed state president of the primary teacher cell, and published the list of district primary teacher cell presidents, and additions to the state primary teacher cell committee in West Bengal, under the guidance of its chairperson Mamata Banerjee.
