NKDA notice to 13 owners for commercial use of homes

Kolkata: NKDA has served notices on the owners of 13 residential buildings in New Town for running commercial facilities there without permission.
The authorities had already issued notice to a couple of owners earlier.
The errant owners have been using their homes as guest houses, kitchens, restaurants, private offices and pre-schools without permission. "Most of the houses ran with grave fire hazard implications and without NKDA permission. Some have tweaked their sanctioned building plans," said an NKDA official. tnn
