Kolkata: Suvendu Adhikari, leader of the opposition in Bengal assembly, on Thursday alleged that he was getting threat calls from Pakistan. Adhikari claimed he was also receiving threat calls from Bangladesh on a regular basis.
"I got a threat call from Pakistan. This is nothing new. I get several such calls on WhatsApp threatening me," he said. He has alerted "appropriate authorities", Adhikari added.
Commenting on the NIA raids in Murshidabad, Adhikari said the district had become a stronghold of terror outfits and Ansarullah Bangla Team was active there. "We cannot forget that the Khagragarh blast happened in Bengal. This is the safest place for terror modules," he said.
