  • The Institute of Leadership, Entrepreneurship & Development (iLEAD) successfully conducted its Student Council Elections recently, drawing a large number of students and staff to the polls. The event was held under the careful supervision of teachers and mentors, ensuring transparency, fairness and discipline throughout the process.

The elections were combined with a special awareness campaign on the country’s electoral system, a requirement under the National Accreditation & Assessment Council (NAAC) and the college’s own guidelines. Students were briefed on the voting procedure, the importance of informed decision‑making, and their constitutional responsibility as future voters. Many participants will be casting their first vote in upcoming national elections, and the campaign emphasised how to navigate the ballot responsibly. The elections served as a platform to promote electoral awareness and reinforce the constitutional responsibility of voting, inspiring students to actively engage in democratic practices. Guided by the faculty, the initiative aimed to help students understand the significance of informed decision-making and participatory leadership.
