Himadri Chemical flags off liquid coal tar shipment from New Mangalore

Kolkata: Himadri Speciality Chemical Ltd has flagged off its first shipment of liquid coal tar pitch to the Middle East from New Mangalore Port, opening a second route for its export operations beyond Haldia. The 3,600-tonne cargo marks an addition to the company's logistics network at a time when global buyers are looking for tighter delivery cycles and diversified sourcing, the company said in a statement. "This shipment reflects growing confidence from international customers and strengthens India's presence in the carbon materials trade," said Anurag Choudhary, CMD & CEO of Himadri.
